This year's poker run was our biggest ever. There was about 200 bikes with the side by side becoming more popular than ever. The rain the day before kept the dust down and the weather was perfect. The ride was at least an hour more than it had ever been. It was made even longer by the fact that I missed an intersection which made finding the forth punch a little like a scavanger hunt (sorry about that). It rained all day Friday so the signs had to be put up using a truck, which is why the intersection was missed.

The two clubs made good money on the poker, food, memberships and maps. That money will go directly to the trails. The state and federal governments are very good about giving us grants but they will only grant about 70-80% of any project. The money earned at the poker run is for our 20-30% without it, there would be no projects.
We make a good profit on the food and drinks because it is mostly donated so thanks to our sponsers for their generous donations and thanks to the members of both clubs who worked all day to make the event a success.
The range of ages was about 7 months to 80 years. At almost 80 Leo (above) spends every Sunday working on our trails.
